Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College is the only vocational college on Koh Samui that is open to students who are disadvantaged, providing education in both knowledge and morality. The school provides professional teachers from abroad, accommodation, and meals available throughout the study. There is a daily practice of the Dharma with the aim that children who have graduated can be self-reliant, can take care of their own families, and be good citizens of the nation. The tuition fee is 0 baht.
Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College is in Koh Samui Surat Thani Province. It has been operating since the 2017 academic year. There are 6 majors, free classes, accommodation and free food, students are placed in jobs, and the school accepts students from all over the country.
Accounting
The accounting course covers both basic content and professional knowledge of accounting and a knowledge of ethics. This field helps students understand how to do financial statements and how to do accounting and pay taxes correctly. A professional accountant can work in many jobs, including government agencies, the private sector, as well as financial service companies such as accounting companies, department stores, audit companies, banks, etc.
Digital Business and Technology
A combination of both knowledge and virtue, the Digital Business and Technology course develops computer skills through practical work and cultivating creative thinking power with Dharma and modern computer science, rather than just studying in textbooks. It strives to take a fair approach with the younger generation so that they can become inventors and innovators who are fully confident in their own quality and potential. After graduating, students will be able to build their own careers and create innovative solutions that are friendly to the environment.
Foreign Languages
The main focus of the Foreign Language course is on English and Chinese. The college has organized a specific teaching and learning curriculum to facilitate effective business communication. We strive to create a unique skillset for students by building communication and social skills. We want to prepare students to be ready to respond to the needs of society as much as possible through being a good citizen, being socially responsible, and having a global perspective.
Hospitality
The Hospitality course teaches students the foundational basics of working in hospitality, including operating at an international level of quality in front desk service, using a reservation system, using computer systems, hospitality and service, food and beverage service for restaurants and banquets, mixology, food service cleanliness and hygiene, etc. Students will learn the basics of cooking, hotel housekeeping, knowledge about rooms, occupational safety and health, laundry, and English and Chinese language skills including reading, listening, and speaking for work and daily life. Students are taught by a team of teachers with both teaching and practical experience in leading partner hospitality institutions and hotels.
Food and Nutrition
There's no better way to achieve your goals than learning from our culinary experts. With more than 21 long-standing food and nutrition professional courses, covering traditional sciences and arts, international and modern techniques, and combining contemporary and hands-on experience, our students are in high demand. Students are placed in apprenticeships at Samui's famous 4 & 5-star hotels. Our graduates are in the forefront of the competitive and ever changing arena of the food and nutrition industry.
Tourism
Students will become professionals with knowledge, ability, expertise and morality through building a strong knowledge base and skills training for a career in tourism. They will have the skills to expand from service workers to business owners who can meet the needs of tourists with creative ideas and daring. Our students dare to think, dare to do, and dare to be leaders in a new form of tourism management that is still growing and changing.
